Vantage Theme: Only display 5 most recent posts on homepage

Hi there!

I installed the Vantage Theme and am having a problem with the post loop from Page Builder. I have the widget set on my home screen to display my posts in a descending order (by date) and I can’t figure out a way to only show, say, 8 of my most recent posts. The widget is set up to show a “next page” link with the grid option or to keep scrolling back through all my posts when I select the carousel option. But I just want to show the 8 most recent. Is this possible?
