# Validation not working

 * greetings,
    first, your work is great.. when I submit the form, even if i’m using
   the * for the required field as [phonetext* the form submits and bypass the required
   validation and doesn’t show the red box around the field.
 * another issue, when using phone numbers, it should restrict typing to number 
   only. This is not the case now, I can input string characters
