# Validation error

 * Hi,
 * I’ve got this note on the first order through my shop
 * “Validation error: PayPal IPN response from a different email address (…). Order
   status changed from Pending payment to On hold.”
 * But the payment went through, so why’s the status box set to being on hold?
 * Did the customer get the links for the downloads or not?
 * How do I stop this issues from happening again?

 * “The Receiver email in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > PayPal will need to
   be the Primary email listed on that page. The PayPal email can be any of the 
   rest of the emails from the page at PayPal.”
 * the > PayPal step doesn’t exist when I try to follow it, but I think I’ve fixed
   it, thanks
