This is happening on all three contact forms – not just one of them
Try submitting the form and inspect each field using the web console to see if CF7 has added the invalid classes to any of them, you may be able to narrow down which field is causing you issues.
Does your form have any radio buttons?
Starting with version 4.9, Contact Form 7 (CF7) has made it mandatory to have an option checked for radio buttons. If a radio button is not selected, a validation error will appear.
Cheers for the help guys, I’ve tried everything. No radio buttons on the forms and no clear reasons why it would be happening. I’ve decided to switch over to WPForms instead. So far very impressed!
Hi, I seem to be having a similar issue with the validation errors. It has worked without any problems up to this point. It likely started occurring at the start of February 2019.
I have several forms on my site, but there is only one form that seems to have the problem. The form is integrated with MailChimp so people can subscribe to a newsletter. So far, I have tried the following with no solution yet:
– Disabled and deleted the Honeypot plugin
– Created a new contact form (with the same info)
– Created a radio button that needs to be selected by the user
– Refreshed the cache and tried different browsers
Any other ideas to get this working again?
Here is the link to the contact form.

Hi mbmedia,
To be honest we were fed up with cf7 being unreliable – every time we did any updates on the site we had to check the contact forms were still working as any slight change on the website could knock them out and stop them working, even if the updates weren’t related to cf7! We decided to move to wpforms and we’re seriously impressed. So stable and no more reason to worry!
I do hope you get sorted, but I would definitely recommend the above.
Thanks
Dan
Thanks for the suggestion.
I may have to consider that in the future, but I have many forms that I would have to reconfigure. For now, I’m going to try re-posting this elsewhere to see if I can find a solution and keep CF7.
