Validate custom field input?

Hi. Very promising polling solution you have here.

Question: Is there any way to validate users’ input into a custom field box? I don’t mean format validation, but for example matching a certain value (e.g., a shared secret code) or ideally any of a set of values (e.g., a unique user ID)?

Related: Would you ever consider moving the result of the custom field input into the logs? Or conversely moving the “answer” associated with each voteID into the Results page? The goal being to have both the custom field value and the vote value in the same place so no external lookup is required (though I appreciate that it is possible).
