    Hi Guys,
After this most recent update to v7.1.2 I’m having problems on all 4 of my sites.

3 of the sites are new – built in January – their blocked IP’s list now only shows up to Feb. 8th AND I’m not able to manually add IP’s.

1 of the sites was built early last year and it’s blocked IP’s list now only shows up to July 17th, 2017, and, as above, I’m not able to manually add IP’s.

When I try to manually add IP’s it “appears” to have performed the function, in that it clears and closes the manual options, but it does NOT add the IP’s to the list.

In my error logs, when trying to add IP’s manually, there are 500 and 503 errors.

I am running the same exact plugins and themes that I’ve been using all along prior to the update to v7.1.2 and WordFence worked perfectly with them. — WordPress core, plugins and themes are all up-to-date.

I’ve tried reverting back to v7.1.1 – which was working correctly before – but now having the same issues as with v7.1.2.

I’ve even tried changing PHP options and that doesn’t help either.

I see there are other folks posting with these same problems showing up after this most recent update.

Please tell me how I can best help you troubleshoot this. Do you need error log entries? I can fire up debug and logging if you’d like? Do you need browser console errors? – Tell me what you need and I’ll do it 🙂

    Thank you,
    Rhonda (aka LL)

  • Hi Rhonda (@leopard-lady),

Can you see any errors in the browser console when you’re visiting the “Blocking” page and attempting to add other IPs?

Could you try temporarily switching to a default theme –if you’re not already using one– and disabling all other plugins then reactivating them one by one to see if the issue is related to a conflict?

To do so I recommend the “Health Check” plugin which allows you to disable all plugins and switch to a default theme, but only for your user.
