v6.1.2.0 does NOT update | WordPress.org

Hello,
We just tried to update from v6.1.1.0 to v6.1.2.0 but we get this error message.

The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

I thought I let you know

Hi! I did a little searching for more information on this error. There is a thread that concerns it here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/incompatible-archive-pclzip_err_bad_format-10

It looks like the error could be caused by a few different problems, but appears to most frequently concern nearing the maximum storage limit. If it has been confirmed that this is not the case, you can manually install our plugin: http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Manual_Plugin_Installation

Take a look through the forum thread for some ideas, and keep me posted on what works for you. Good luck!

We managed to install it in the end.

Since I got your attention though could you please have a look at this very old but never resolved post as well?
