It is on master branch of our Github repo. You can use Toolbox -> Beta Test to give it a try.

Note: upgrade only from v3.6.4+ to v4.2. Lower versions will result in an upgrade error. The error won’t cause any issue for your sites. Just the plugin itself will be deactivated by WP when WP detected any error. You will need to manual activate the plugin again if upgrade from v3.6.3- to v4.2.

Enjoy the new Guest Mode option. You don’t have to manually tune the page optimization settings back and forth anymore.

The new version v4.2 is already on WP. However, as this version contains substantial changes, the latest stable version on WP will keep on v3.6.4 for a while.

V4.2 is scheduled to mark as the latest stable version on WP at Aug/11/2021.

  • Request some advice specially for Buddypress users
We had an issue in the past with Avatars, passwords and Buddypress Profile Editing with caching. We saw that in support over a year back you had given another version of the plugin. is 4.2 fully compatible with Buddypress ?

Kindly share the right settings for Buddypress website with blogs and User Profiles ( user profiles are regularly updated, many X profile fields are there too and are updated)

Please advise which AMP works with this plugin

Would you advise any Progressive Web apps so one can use it better on Mobiles too

    Thank you !

Hi, I noticed the new plugin update today and I have a few questions:

    1. Should I update it now? It says it’s not been tested with WP 5.8. I got Litespeed 3.6.4 installed. and my server is on Litespeed server –

Anything else I need to think of before updating?

    2. The changelog says that the last changes were made in July, is this correct?
So no new changes for a few weeks?

    3. This is a bit off-topic, but I have problems with WPForms. It says that it has “detected an issue with JavaScript on this page. JavaScript is required for this form to work properly, so this form may not work as expected”.
After googling around, it seems it’s an issue for other Litespeed servers. What should I do to make sure people can send forms?

    Looking forward to your reply,

    Kind Regards

    Espen

@mpcd108 Buddypress compatibility is in todo.

    @passion4fm
    1. You can. The only known WP 5.8 compatibility issue is the widget ESI settings. That is why we didn’t mark it as tested up to WP5.8.

    2. You are right. V4.2 was packed at that moment. The newer improvements are in dev branch only. You can test them by Beta Test too. But the official v4.2 won’t have any changes since packed in July.

    3. JS related issue, you can follow our doc to debug. In v4.2, you can turn off all manual JS optm, only use Guest Mode.

is there any version of LiteSpeed Cache which is good for Buddypress – then i can use it for now.
