v3.5.2 – Quote signs are parsed in a wrong way

    Recently I have noticed a strange behavior of all texts which contain quote signs anywhere inside of comments. The parsing procedure seems to be wrong as all quotes are now “escaped” with backslash signs.

    Let’s say you have a comment containing a word EXAMPLE in quotes: “EXAMPLE”

    But wpDiscuz actually displays this text like: \“EXAMPLE\“

    It’s just a cosmetic bug but very annoying in comments.

    wpDiscuz should not have such a problem. it seems this is a server configuration or maybe you have some plugins which hook “comment adding” or “displaying” functions with extra escaping.

    We’ll check this on other servers too.
