Since installing v1.8 I cannot connect to server. I’ve tried other tools, plus telnet etc and all is good with the server. Have gone over my configuration multiple times yada yada yada.

    debug notes

    Connecting via Socket
    Socket: tls://<myemailserver>.com:995
    Socket error: 0 –
There was an error connecting to the server

    Anyone else? Help appreciated.

Spoke too soon. Seeing your debug logs should help diagnose the issue.

1.8.7 has been released and should fix the issues when connecting via sockets.

GREAT and it seemingly works flawlessly with sockets.

John I tried to respond to your email, but it is bouncing. Not sure if it is related the DDOS attach going on or not.

I did receive your message, but my replies are still bouncing. Here is what my response was.

Yes, the signature stripping function only works in some cases. I use https://regex101.com/ for testing my expressions. This seems to work: <a href=”\/2016

You might be better off turning off the signature stripping and using the “Text for Message End” setting. No regex required.
