    Hi,

Can you please hide HubSpot menu item from the sidebar in WP dashboard for all non-admin roles?

There is absolutely no reason why it’s visible to anyone, who is not an admin, since users with those roles shouldn’t be able to modify HubSpot settings anyway.

    Cheers,
    Alex

    Hi @prowebassist ,

Thank you for the feedback. We currently don’t have a plan to hide the settings tab as it’s the primary way for a user to navigate between accounts, disconnect their account from the site, and make quick settings adjustments (when provisioned). Even a non-admin would need to access these settings.

If you’re wanting to limit access to certain HubSpot tools for non-admins, you can do so from your HubSpot setting panel. Under Settings / Users & Teams on HubSpot’s main site, you can set access for different users on your account. For instance, if you remove accesss to forms for a user, the user won’t be able to modify settings for that tool from within the WordPress plugin. Here’s more info on how to edit user permissions:

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Ben

Hmm.. I guess I am confused about what HubSpot plugin actually does.

I thought it’s just necessary in order to connect WP to HubSpot services and allow form integrations, chat software etc. In which case why would we ever want an Editor-type user be able to sign in with their own account? I thought only admins should be able to modify those settings.
