    Alright, I finally learned how to remove the side bar from my pages. Now I would like to learn how to utilize that empty space. Thanks.

  • I’ve been toying around with it for a while have manages to edit the code to have my content more to the right side of the page; however, I’m not sure where the code is that will allow me to utilize the left side of the page. Here is a bit of code from my style.css Is it in here somewhere?

    #content_container {
    margin: 10px auto;
    width: 1250px;
    }

    #content {
    float: left;
    width: 1300px;
    z-index: 1;
    }

    #content #left-col {
    float: left;
    padding: 20px 16px 20px 10px;
    width: 620px;
    z-index: 1;
    }

    #content #right-col {
    float: left;
    padding: 3px;
    width: 307px;
    z-index: 1;

    I forgot to add the link to the page

    all pages now look similar except for the ones where I wanted to keep the side bar. How do I make this two column page a one column that utilizes the whole page?

    I found my solution. I had to modify this line of code in the stlye.css file

    }

    .post-entry {
         float: left;
         overflow: hidden;
         padding-bottom: 10px;
         padding-top: 10px;
         width: 620px;
    }

    Delete “overflow:hidden” and change the width to 964 or whatever you want.
