lol should’ve expected this and remembered how to fix it as it happens on most updates!!

so after the latest update, were getting the blank screen on cart and checkout. The one with grey boxes that look like they’re “waiting” for cart contents to load …

cart and checkout are excluded from cache.

how the go about fixing? As soon as is convenient (!) already lost a few orders today not realising this issue popped up again.

    much appreciated 👍

Not sure whether this is the WC update or Stripe Plugin update that broke things?!

I’ve deactivated the stripe plugin and cart and checkout pages are working again!

    Hi @itsmefti,

Sorry to hear about the issues you’re facing after updating your plugins.

I understand you already went ahead by deactivating the stripe plugin and cart and checkout pages started working correctly. Just to have a better understanding, do you have any active plugins other than WooCommerce and Stripe?

If so, I’d recommend testing with only having WooCommerce and Stripe as the active plugins to see if the cart would function correctly.

Let us know how this goes.

    thanks for your message.

yes, for the meantime I don’t think we have the time right now to do the testing. Lol we’re quite frustrated at having to “fix stuff” that takes hrs or days at every other update!

i see a lot of issues with woo and stripe post update (here and in other forums) and have been fortunate not to have had these, but this time we have the issues. I think we’ll have to continue with what’s working (PayPal) and maybe wait until the usual extra version that fixes things is released.

    Thanks again 👍

    Hi @itsmefti,

I’m sorry to hear about the problems you’ve experienced since the recent update. Due to the different plugins running in your store, such hiccups can occur, but our team is constantly working to see that updates are seamless and do not cause any errors/issues with other plugins /themes.

If you have time, I would recommend you run the mentioned tests from a staging site to avoid messing with your live store. Here are the steps to creating a staging site if you’d be interested in testing out.

Meanwhile, if PayPal is working fine for you, I’ll recommend you continue using it for the time being.

    Have a wonderful weekend!
