You can do it with the pro version

Thanks! I found a workaround. I had a couple other questions that I posted on your website but I think the post might have gotten marked as spam since it had links. I will re-post them here if this is easier.

I am using your slider on http://www.cliffkeenwrestlingclub.com/

    2 questions:

    1. There should be a 6th post appearing on the slider — if you go to news items, you can see that there is an article that is supposed to appear 4th — http://www.cliffkeenwrestlingclub.com/category/news/ — the article about Kyle Massey added to the staff. Why is that particular article not appearing on the slider? I even tried deleting it and re-adding it and it didn’t appear. Not sure why one particular post wouldn’t appear on the slider while the others would.

    2. Is there any way to set up the slider so it reads off of the “featured image” function of WordPress? We have a couple video interviews as posts on there and we want the slider image to be a screenshot of the video. But it looks really bad you click on the video post and see the embedded video and then to have a jpg of the screenshot under it. Since your slider uses the first image in the post, this seems to be the only way to do it, but it would be a lot cleaner of it read off of the featured image. Is there any way to set this up to read off the featured image?

    Thanks again, great slider!
