• Dear Support,
I have set up successfully the plugin for the widgets. It looks fine but I tried to create a page with the code and it works but instead of showing my videos’ channel it shows the YouTube Spotlight channel.
    How can this happen?

He configurado el plugin para los widgets y funciona perfectamente. Quería crear una página basada en el código y funciona pero no me muestra mis videos sino el canal de videos de YouTube Spotlight.
    Cómo puede suceder esto?

  • Yeah, that’s what I’m getting too. When I had user= in there it would just issue an error. When I changed that to channel= then it just loads the YouTube Spotlight channel as you describe. And unfortunately I get a 404 when trying to load any of the documentation pages on their website.

You can place a shortcode into the TEXT of a page, here’s an example of one that’s working for me (place your own api key, and I am connecting via channel not user):

    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery key=”xxxxxxxx” identify_by=”channelid” user=”xxxxxx” showinfo=”1″ title=”1″ description=”1″ description_words_number=”1000″ duration=”1″ publisheddate=”1″ title_tag=”h3″ maxitems=”0″ playertitle=1 thumb_columns_phones=”1″ thumb_columns_tablets=”2″ thumb_columns_md=”3″ thumb_columns_ld=”3″ promotion=”0″]

If you download the plugin from the site, there is a readme which has the documented parameters for the shortcode.

    Hope this helps 🙂
