Using WP-PostViews with 'Featured articles Lite' (3 posts)

    I would like to use the function

    if(function_exists('the_views')) { the_views(); }

    within the 'Featured articles Lite' plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/featured-articles-lite/)

    This plugin provides theme templates where I could put in the function. Doing so the number of views aren't displayed, only "0 views" appears with each featured article.

    See my blog: http://kmeducationhub.de/

    This is probably because the theme templates do not have a

    while (have_posts()) : the_post();

    In the WP-PostViews instructions you can read that the_views needs to be placed below the while function (http://lesterchan.net/wordpress/readme/wp-postviews.html).

    Is there a way to show the number of views somehow?

    Couldn't make it work and therefore switched to the post-views plugin ^ http://ziming.org/dev/post-views

    Works fine and comes with nice stats, widgets and a lot of code functions. The only drawback compared to WP-PostViews seems to be that the widgets do not have an option to display post counts.

    Just want to let you know that I switched back to WP-PostViews because the post-views plugin somewhat corrupted my blog. I had to log in to my blog again and again with every single action.

    Since I deleted post-views everything is fine :-) except my initial problem that I can not make WP-PostViews run with 'Featured articles Lite'. Any suggestions?
