I want to purchase a plug-in for my woocommerce site which will import all of my ebay listings and sync the changes as they happen on eBay.
I like working with eBay and do not want to manage my listings from woocommerce (no offense).
I understand that WP-Lister isnt designed for that, so my question is…
Can I use the import plug in without WP-Lister?
I have no problem doing a clean import once a week.
Also if I use “clean import” feature, will it also wipe out the previous images?

    Hey @nyvalue

    You are correct.

We don’t recommend running regular imports with the importer add on plugin: https://docs.wplab.com/article/69-importing-product-from-ebay-on-a-daily-basis – but some users do and they have no problems doing so.

No the importer will not sync the changes you make on eBay to your website, you would have to run a new clean import to import the modifications you made on eBay.

No you cannot use the importer add on plugin without WP-Lister installed, the importer add on plugin requires WP-Lister to be installed: https://docs.wplab.com/article/72-use-the-importer-add-on-without-wp-lister

If you use the clean import mode, previous images will not be wiped out. If you do want to clear out your imported images and have them re-imported on a new clean import, you can clear out any images that were imported by the importer add on plugin on the “Tools” page of the importer add on plugin.

    Kind regards,
    John

Thanks for the reply @wp-lab-support .

1- Is WP-Lister Lite sufficient to use the importer?

2-Regarding doing a clean import on a regular basis. I have about 500 ebay listings each with 4-5 images. How long would a clean import take roughly?

3- Is there a return-refund policy in case I am not satisfied with the importer?

    Hi @nyvalue,

1- Is WP-Lister Lite sufficient to use the importer?

Yes it is. WP-Lister for eBay (Pro or lite) needs to be installed and set up when you want to use the importer plugin.

Here’s the feature comparison between Pro and lite version: https://www.wplab.com/plugins/wp-lister/feature-comparison/

2-Regarding doing a clean import on a regular basis. I have about 500 ebay listings each with 4-5 images. How long would a clean import take roughly?

This is technically possible, but it is not advisable.

When using WP-Lister Pro version you can import up to 10 listings at a time, when using lite, only one listing at a time. Depending on your server, import can take up 5 to 15 seconds per listing.

Please note that the importer is designed to be used once then you can deactivate and uninstall it. You should not be importing new products from eBay regularly. You should rather do the initial import, then from then on only use WP-Lister to list/modify products to eBay.

This is also explained in great details here – https://docs.wplab.com/article/69-importing-product-from-ebay-on-a-daily-basis

3- Is there a return-refund policy in case I am not satisfied with the importer?

Yes, we offer 30-day money back guarantee. Please refer to our Refund Policy here – https://www.wplab.com/contact/refund-policy/
