Using WP as a large-scale CMS?

    Hi there!

    I’ve been dev’ing in WP for a while now, and have had a client reach out to me recently with a project.

    The site in question is currently a pile of .html files, and I feel tossing them into database makes the most sense. My fear, though, is that the site currently has several hundred articles, and 8-10 thousand visitors (not page views) daily.

    Could WP be uses reliably on a site of this size? Should I be worried? I’ve lookd (briefly) at drupal and joomla but would rather stick with what I know.

    Suggestions?
