Support » Fixing WordPress » Using WordPress with JAWS

  • I’m helping a visually impaired person who has been asked to administrate a WordPress site. A program called JAWS, which reads text aloud, is necessary for accessibility, but it doesn’t seem to mesh well with links that appear when you hover over them, and there seem to be many links you can’t get to without using the mouse. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience of using WordPress successfully with JAWS?

There are many WordPress site owners who use JAWS or similar screen reader software. What specifically is the problem?
