    Hi

I’ve got a BitNami WordPress stack installed on a computer in our LAN but I’m having problems when accessing the site on other computers.

    The two main problems are:

The theme not displaying exactly the same as it does on the host computer.
Media cannot be attached/doesn’t appear in the Media Library.

I’m guessing that the reason for these problems is some URLs need changing to point at the computer hostname/IP address rather than 127.0.0.1.

Another thing to point out is the stack is running on port 82 as ports 80 and 81 are already in use.

    Please can anyone help me?

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi

I believe you have some permission problems there, that could be causing the malfunction of WordPress.
You should change the folder permissions using this recipe

@fictionedge – could you do us mods a favor and drop the links to WC Europe? These forums really aren’t for posting irrelevant links and it makes more work for us to remove them all. Thanks.

    Hi

Thanks for the tip Fiction Edge but I’ve actually already found the issue, it was IE displaying the site in Compatibility View!

    Kind regards
