  • I am trying to understand how can one use wordpress as data management system. Is there any plugin or theme that does that.

Basically I want to develope a website (or a section/category/page/post) where I can keep a record of the websites that I own, registered date, hosted on, weather using WP or other script, developed or undeveloped, category, description etc.

I would need such fields to be filled at one place (admin area) and the output to be displayed on the main site (cud be a password protected post). Pls guide.

All posts, pages, comments, users (or whatever you want with proper PHP coding) are written to a MySQL Database with WP…review it’s functionality at MySQL and PHP.net

lol …. so you want me to develope an independent script only.

There must be a way with post types/ post templates / custom fields

I am not sure how your response will elicit any further replies.

weather using WP or other script

That said, to answer you, it appeared to me you did not understand how WordPress works as a CMS, hence my reply.
