• Alright I’m using wordpress as a CMS.

And lets say for example on the front page I have 4 different text areas that I want my client to be able to go into a Custom Post type and have those 4 fields available so he can always edit them and update them… Is this the best way to set something up like this? Using custom post types and custom fields etc??

And now the real question (if the above is a yes) how do I make sure those post types are not searchable or readable to users on their own? Because a custom post type Does indeed create their own Page, with unique URL and everything. So how do I make sure these pages don’t show up in say google or something?

Hope this question was clear enough.
