Using wordpress as a single page CMS

I’m trying to set up a website that would use a basic html and css design, but with the wordpress backend cms. I’d like to be able to type stuff into wordpress admin, and have it control the content of a single page (but not control the template of that page, just the content)

How would I go about doing this?
