• Hello, I use bluehost to host a web site. I used some program to make it 4 years ago. I can’t remember how to use it so I am thinking of trying to start over. It wordpress a good program to use to make a web site not a blog? Also hoe easy is it to use. Being over 50 I did not grow up with computers so I am very limited in my knowledge of them. I need something very user friendly and super easy to manage.
    Thank You
    James

  • Hi James,
it’s hard to say how hard it’ll be for you as you haven’t really stated what features you need for your website. Compared to other CMS WP is very easy to get up and running. I suggest you try WP (it’s very easy to install at Bluehost) and try it out. There is also a lot of useful documentation for beginners – http://codex.wordpress.org/Getting_Started_with_WordPress
Once you have specific question, I’m sure someone will help you out.

    Good luck with WP! 🙂

I am sure BlueHost will have their support team to help you out. They can definitely provide you on softwares like Softaculous or Fantastico to get your site running

WordPress can also be used to make your website. Actually it’s a great choice!

If you’re planning on using a tool to help you create a website, one that can be customized and configured to look unique, WP is the way to go.

If you find that WP is too challenging, then perhaps you can go with wordpress.com instead.
