I started with ipage and weebly. When i added wordpress, and created a blog in weebly, it defaulted to a rote wordpress blog. When i open the wordpress site and create a blog, it will upload to my site, but it will not be as i typed it in wordpress.

How can i keep what i have in weebly, and totally create a new site “offline” in word press. The new site will then be added to ipage, and i will use that instead of weebly. Right now weebly and wordpress are open/operating, and the the coordination between the two (navigation) is hard to discern/manage.

[ Oh geez, the upper case horror. As a public service I’ve sentence cased this. But do not post in all-caps anymore. It’s considered very rude. I’ve also closed the original and other duplicate thread too. Keep to one thread only and don’t post in all-caps. ]

Weebly is … something most of us will be unfamiliar with, and if there’s an auto-install script for WP on that host, you need to talk to them for help setting it up.

Since WordPress is an “add-on” they will give limited assistance, but they told me that I really needed to ask wordpress.

So does this, it gives a 404 which is good. That “Page not found” means the WordPress rewrite rules are working.

I think you need to ask your host about how to remove that ipage stuff. Then WordPress may just work.
