[Resolved] using usernoise on a non-wordpress site

    Hi Nikolaj

we are currently evaluating the use of usernoise as a feedback forum for our non-wordpress web platform. It would make sense because we are soon opening a wordpress blog that belongs to the same site (but will run on a different server). Thus we could run the feedback forum and the blog on the same cms.

My question: for security reasons we would rather not install wordpress and php on our server. Is there a way to use usernoise on our website WITHOUT installing wordpress on the server?

    tnx for replying
    Johannes

Sorry, but Usernoise depends on WP big time, thus making it impossible to use it without WP and PHP installed. I am writing a paid standalone version at the moment, but it also will not be able to work without PHP.

So if you cant afford to install PHP for security reason – it will be best for you to implement something like Usernoise on platform of your choice or use a hosted solution – there are plenty of them available.
