My site already has many Posts and Comments prior to installing Ultimate FAQ.

As I’m playing with Ultimate FAQ I’m realizing that creating a new FAQ within the plugin is the same as creating a normal WordPress Post. The difference being the permalink.

On a regular WP Post, the URL to one of my posts looks like this:
    https://domain.com/title-of-my-post

When using your plugin, the URL changes to include the “FAQ Slug base”, in my case I’ve changed it to support so that the URLs to FAQs created using the plugin look like this:
    https://domain.com/support/title-of-my-post

I was thinking of just copying all the content of each of my existing posts into a new FAQ (Post) with the same name, but in doing so I lose all my comments on my original posts.

I wish I had known about your plugin a long time ago. If that were the case, I’d only create what are called FAQs within your plugin instead of regular posts. Nevertheless, do you know of a way to either use my existing posts instead of your plugin FAQs or a way to easily add existing post comments to new FAQs created with your plugin?

Sorry for the long winded explanation. Hopefully you get the gist of what I’m asking. It would be a shame to convert to using only your plugin for posts but to also lose all my existing post comments if I made the switch.

    Thanks
