Using Timthumb with custom field!!
-
I purchased a theme and have it running on:
http://www.newmusicfreak.com/beta2
Here is the issue, you will see the thumbnails are not the right size to fit in the box. What I want to do is auto resize the image to fit int he box. I belive timthumb would be the easiest way to due this but i dont know how to rework the code to make it function right.
Right now I upload the image via wordpress then I put a custom field called Thumbnail and past the url of the image into it.
In Index.php here is where it is pulling the image:
<div class=”ravenphoto-thumb”>
” rel=”bookmark” class=”thetip” title=”<?php the_title(); ?> :: <b>Posted On:</b> <?php the_time(‘M j, Y’) ?>
<b>Has:</b> <?php comments_number(‘no responses’,’one response’,’% responses’); ?>
<b>Posted By:</b> <?php the_author() ?>”><img class=”imgborder” src=”<?php $values = get_post_custom_values(“Thumbnail”); echo $values[0]; ?>” alt=”<?php the_title(); ?>” />
</div>
<div class=”ravenphoto-info”>
<H1>” rel=”bookmark” title=”Permanent Link to <?php the_title_attribute(); ?>”><?php the_title(); ?></H1>I created the timthumb.php file and put it in a folder called js.
The instruction for timthumb only talk about use a file not a call to a custom field.
Any Help would be great!!!
