Using this w/ Yoast or in place of Yoast?

    I see a lot of positive feedback on this plugin and I’m wondering if this and Yoast are similar in any way and is it advantageous in any way to use both. Or, is it not advised?

    Hi, both plugins serve different purposes. Jetpack will provide you with tools for better content authoring, speed up images (thus making your site load faster), statistics, mobile apps for management/content authoring, security and backup features. Yoast will allow you to improve the SEO of your site. Jetpack has some SEO tools too, and when Yoast is activated, Jetpack will turn off its SEO tools since Yoast is a dedicated solution for this.
    So feel free to use both, since each one will solve a specific need.
