I am using this plugin in tandem with the Ditty News Ticker. I was having issues with the ticker getting resized, so I enabled Legacy Mode. By enabling that however, the ticker was sized properly but was no longer sticky. So I also enabled Dynamic Mode. This allowed the Ticker to stay properly sized and sticky, but now when you scroll on the page the ticker stops ticking. I am not sure if this is an issue with the Sticky Plugin or the Ditty News Ticker Plugin so I am placing questions to both support forums.

I am also using SiteOrigin if that is of any significance.

The page in question can be viewed at https://kikconsulting.com/

Right now it is just on the Home Page but I am hoping to update all the other pages of this site to include the sticky version of the ticker.

    Hi,

The free version of WP Sticky creates a clone of the element and makes that sticky. This is to prevent the layout from shifting/jumping when the element enters sticky state. But the theme still scrolls the original element and is not aware of the cloned sticky element in order to animate that as well 🙁

    Hello,

Okay. It does keep ticking when not in Legacy Mode, it just doesn’t fill up the whole width of the page. I’m working currently with the Ditty News Ticker Support so maybe they can help find a full solution. If so I will post back here with that information.

    Thanks!
