The current version (1.0.4) does not allow restrictions on the pages it runs on. I could add this in the new version which should come out in a few weeks. How would you like to select the pages on which the plugin runs?

    • By selecting post categories in a list
    • Using a RegEx against the url
    • Typing in a list of post IDs

The plugin sets up an hourly rate conversion check which should not add any significant load to your server but it should be possible to add a daily option in a future version.

Thanks for your quick answer, we will like to see the first or third options to choose where to use the plugin. will be annoying if this change currencies in a NO price number in some page like for example “about us” if we display how many projects have done so far…

Just check, the free API give you 1.000 requests per month and the month have 720 hours so there is no problem.

    Thanks

i just installed, activated and added my API key, but seems to be a problem.
I choosed chilean peso as base currency and now when i see the page (i am in chile and i am using spanish browser) changed my price for something i cant understand, seems to be USD but x 10 the normal price.

Found the problem, please help to fix it ASAP.
Your plugin is amazing, but our currency format in our site is in this format 1.000 (x.xxx) for chilean pesos so the plugin doesn’t recognized the . (dot).
When i removed the . (dot) and changed it to 1000 (xxxx) format instead was working, but the problem is this is not keeping my original, initial price is also converting it, and this should keep my base price and convert only for other currencies, not for our base currency.

Then we need to fix please:

1- make recognizable the format x.xxx for chilean peso and not only with xxxx format
2- keep our initial price in the local/base currency and convert it only for other currencies

    THANKS

Thanks for the bug report, mzukerbm.

I’ll work on a fix for this over the coming weekend.

It would help if you could send the url of the page where I can see the problem to:

    steve at machinesthatgobing dot com

    Thanks
