Using the WP DB Backup plugin

    I have activated the WP db backup plugin. But when I go Manage/ Backup I get the following message.

    WARNING: Your wp-content directory is NOT writable! We can not create the backup directory.

    What permissions am I meant to set for the wp-content folder so that this plugin works?. It’s currently set to 755. And I don’t want to set it to 777.
