  • So I’m sure you know what I’m talking about; it’s where you type a post or page, and use that area below to upload your image.

It all works great and whatnot.

When you use the settings “using thumnail” “link to page” “send to editor”, it inserts a thumnail of the bigger image. When you view that page, you can click on the thumbnail, and it will open a larger version of that image in a post (with the option to leave comments).

    Which is what want.

But, I’m using the ComicPress theme (which is great), but when it open the larger image version in a post, it scales the width and height (I assume to fit into the theme, neatly). I don’t want this. Which file must I open, in order to edit this? I want to change the “height” restrictions, so that it will only format the image’s width.

In other words, I want the image to have an infinite height option, but leaving the width contrained.

I’m struggling to explain myself. I hope someone understands what I’m asking.

    Anyone?

  • Depends on how the theme does this, have a look in both the style.css and attachment.php file in you themes folder
