Support » Plugin: Participants Database » Using the form for entering the fees received

I want to use the plugin for entering the fees received on each visit.
For that all the details are already present all i want is to be able to search or enter the record and against that the amount received.
However the problem is that for the second visit the earlier data will be overwritten which i do not want.
Is there a way to do that?

I know i’m asking too much but i guess it should be doable

The plugin doesn’t have a field that can accommodate multiple entries such as you suggest. Of course, it’s possible to create a custom field with that functionality if you’ve got some coding skills. A simple solution might be to use a text area and then just add new lines to the text area for each payment.

Ok thanx but i’m afraid i dont have the coding skills.
Still i thought of an option is there a way to have a field for time stamp in conjunction with date.
In this way for every transaction will have a unique date time combination and won’t be overwritten and i’ll be able to search for a particular customer by his/her name

Yes, that’s a great idea, but probably too specific to be generally included int he plugin. If you know someone with some coding skills, you may be able to get this functionality built, I can provide some pointers.

    Hi deedeedudu,

I had similar needs to accommodate multiple entries, I sugested it before but, I understood what Xnau reply in the time and I create a custom template with some functionalities to process each line and stored in a hidden text area for the group (may be the same for a single field).

I am trying to improve it and make it standard so, any field/group defined as multiple entries can call the function and be processed.

As Xnau said, he can provide some pointers, that would be helpful.

If you continue seeking solution for your fees management, may this help, as is working for me.

    Hii YaniMosi,
I have zero coding skills still i managed to find a workaround. I unchecked the update field at the backend.
Hence system creates a new record each and every time even if all the details are matched.

Still the functionality as u and xnau suggested would be the best solution. Do inform me if you are able to get it done.
