Support » Plugin: Audio Player » Using the Audio Player on a page that calls only one blog entry

  • I’ve recently installed the WordPress Audio Player plugin (the latest version) on my site, which contains the audio from previous radio shows I’ve done (www.nusportscorner.braican.com/shows). This worked fine.
However, I wanted to put the most recent show on the homepage. So I created some code to put the content of the latest blog on the homepage, which is not part of a WordPress theme; it’s just a .php page with code that calls WordPress. The text of the blog came through, but the audio player did not. I tried the troubleshooting method, but I fear that since the homepage is not part of a WordPress theme, I can’t access the wp_head() and wp_head() functions indicated on the troubleshooting page of the plugin’s site.
So I downloaded the standalone player, and put the appropriate JavaScript in the head of both my homepage, and the header.php of the blog theme. The player shows up, but when I put the javaScript in the blog (using the HTML tab), nothing shows up. After trying a couple things, including using the two in conjunction, I have no idea how to achieve my goal of having a separate page from the blog show the audio player.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks
