May I have some issues or strange behaviours using text as table ID?
Is there any max lenght for table IDs?
Documentation in your website states ID is Integer but I’m able to write text on ID field.

The website is going to have some tables, so I would like to use table IDs in a human readable format, example:
    [table id=my_favorite_songs /]
    instead of:
    [table id=12 /]

This way it is very easy to identify the table when having multiple tables in a page.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Nice find here, the documentation is wrong here… The table ID can in fact be a string, and does not to be a number.
All letters (a-z and A-Z), numbers (0-9), hyphen (-), and underscore (_) are allowed in the table ID, so “my_favorite_songs” is perfectly fine.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

    Ok, thanks!!

I suggest to increase width of the ID field as it is difficult to write more than 5 or 6 characters.

    Best regards

no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!

Yes, I’ll think about making that text field bigger. Thanks for the suggestion!
