# Using table elements for tables not placed in plugin.

 * This is going to seem a little kooky.
 * I have a number of tables that are using custom queries to list posts which are
   not entered into the plugin. I would like to apply the JavaScript data-table 
   features to these odd tables. Such as as sorting, search, and colored even rows.
 * Any ideas on how I could do this?

 * you can achieve this with WP-Table Reloaded. WP-Table Reloaded uses the DataTables
   JavaScript library for these features, and you can use that library with any 
   HTML table, not just those from WP-Table Reloaded.
    Just follow the instructions
   on [http://www.datatables.net](http://www.datatables.net) to integrate the library
   into your pages.
