 * I was able to install a purchased template from TemplateMonster “WordPress theme
   31044” [http://www.templatemonster.com/wordpress-themes/31044.html](http://www.templatemonster.com/wordpress-themes/31044.html)
part of the installation instructions is to replace “your_url” with your actual
web address in the sql file.
 * The website is currently under a developmental url. How do I change the website
to the actual url without losing all of the content loaded on the developmental
   url?

 * As this is a commercial theme, we cannot really help. You need to seek support
   from the theme vendors.

 * esmi Thank you for your quick response. I have tried several times to get an
answer from the vendor and have not gotten one. Thought I could get some help
   here.

 * That’s probably because they have a for-cost installation option.

 * The problem is that we have no idea why the theme includes an sql dump file and
whether that file adds, or amends, records in the default WP database tables
or whether it creates it’s own table. Can you tell from the dump file?

 * Chip – they do have a paid for option but they also have a template support desk
and when I have asked them questions we mysteriously get disconnected or they
tell me that they are going to transfer me to an advanced technical expert (and
I never get a response). I do not mind paying for the support I just want a straight
   answer that I need to.
 * esmi – From my understanding the sql file is to make the template look exactly
like the demo online. So when you load the sql file all of the content, pictures,
widgets, etc. are put into your WordPress site. These are the tables that are
being modified by the sql file:
 * Dumping data for table `wp_commentmeta`
    Dumping data for table `wp_comments`
Dumping data for table `wp_contact_form_7` Dumping data for table `wp_links`
Dumping data for table `wp_options` Dumping data for table `wp_postmeta` Dumping
data for table `wp_posts` Dumping data for table `wp_terms` Dumping data for
table `wp_term_relationships` Dumping data for table `wp_term_taxonomy` Dumping
data for table `wp_usermeta` Dumping data for table `wp_wpsb_users`

 * In **theory**, you could use the site’s current url and then follow the instructions
   for [Moving_WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress) when it was
time to upload the site to its final destination.

 * esmi, thank you for your help. The instructions for Moving WordPress worked perfectly!
