Using SMTP Mailer not working with latest release

    Hi there,

    Have upgraded a few of my websites to the latest Contact Form 7 version 4.4 and I am having issues with the SMTP mailer plugin I use to generate the email instead of the php mailer.

    Anyway, found that the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin by Callum McDonald no longer works to send the email via SMTP server. Even when I fix the validation errors that Contact Form 7 4.4 introduced.

    Is this a known and/or documented issue?

    I just want to add something to this. The website I am having issues with is using WordPress 4.3.3.

    I just checked on another website with same plugins and its running latest WordPress core 4.2.2 and it appears to send the email fine.

    Can confirm now that two websites I have built that have WordPress 4.3.3 have issues with WP-Mail-SMTP plugin and latest version of Contact Form 7.
