Using RSS feed with new My Yahoo?

  • The new and improved My Yahoo! allows *any* RSS feed to be added to your page…supposedly. I’ve added a couple, and it’s pretty cool. But, it seems to want a file ending in .xml. When I point it to my wp-rss2.php file, it says “We couldn’t find the RSS file you asked for”
So, is there a way to have the RSS feed output with an xml extension?

Great, except this is on a win box…no mod_rewrite. Is that the only option?

I was informed by someone that RSS feeds with .php extensions are now working with the new My Yahoo! I confirmed this with my WP feed (same one I had tried before), and it works! So, I now have my favorite WP blogs (and others) on my My Yahoo! portal….cool.
