# Using proxy

 * Hi,
 * I post to Telegram groups but have found that i am locked out of many groups 
   that I would like to post to. Can I use the proxy feature to get around this,
   if so, how?
 * 1, Typical problems I have is, I cannot add my bot to the Telegram group.
 * 2, I cannot add MyChatBotInfo to the group to obtain the group IDs (can i use
   the name of the group instead?).
 * I have watched the proxy video, but it does not seem to answer these questions,
   hence I am unsure if the feature will solve this problem for me. At present I
   have had to do a big forwarding exercise after each post.

 * The proxy module only helps you connect to Telegram if your web host blocks Telegram.
   If you don’t have permissions to post into a group or add the bot to the group,
   then proxy module won’t help.
