    Hi,
just discovered that pods doesn’t work with Elementor when involving numbers.

I’d like to create charts based on product specs, but this stopped me.

Is it a temporarily missing feature?

We are aware of this, I know that Elementor is already aware of this bug and hope they will release a patch a.s.a.p.

    Cheers, Jory

I use PODS with Elementor and likewise find it a nuisance that it does not directly support Currency or Value fields.

However, if you just want to DISPLAY a value or currency, you CAN use Elementor’s shortcode widget (drop the widget onto a post and then paste e.g. ‘[pods field=”price)”]’ into the shortcode). This will display the value of the field and will also display currency (including local currency symbol) for currency fields. You will not however have any formatting capabilities.

Alternatively, you can use Elementor’s Text Editor widget with the shortcode pasted in place of text (the currency symbol will display here also). You can then format the appearance as required. Note that this only works on CPT’s and not pages.

    Hello @ianmp

As said above, Pods cannot do anything here at this point. Elementor is not open source.
They have promised the fix it but we have no idea when or how.

Thanks for your contribution on how to display fields. Those shortcodes should work in all locations where shortcodes are supported!

Correct, the output formatting of this field is defined in your field options.

    Cheers, Jory
