Using Numeric/Date Typed Product Attribute WooCommerce

Hi

Firstly thanks for a terrific plugin. I am quite new to woo-commerce and I wonder if there is a simple solution for adding global numeric or date typed product attributes and use them in the filter widget same as the price filter.

For example one of the attribute I would like to have is “surface” which can be in range of 0 to 9999. I would like to avoid entering the whole range numbers or have set of ranges (i.e. 0-100, 101-300, 301-500 …) as ordered text entries.

Any idea how to accomplish that?
