Support » Fixing WordPress » Using multiple domains under one wordpress.com user

  • Is it possible to be an admin on two sites with one user? How would I switch between sites?

    Example:
My main site is xxxxxx.com for company xxxxxx.
I’m setting up a new company unaffiliated with xxxxxx called yyyyyy. The domain is yyyyyy.com.

I’d like to be able to edit xxxxxx.com and yyyyyy.com with the same wordpress.org user.

You were on track when you said “WordPress.com user” in the title. 🙂

If you use the Jetpack plugin http://jetpack.me/ on both sites, you can enable their Single Sign On module: http://jetpack.me/support/sso/

You will need to establish a user account on each self-hosted WordPress.org site first, then connect that site to the same WordPress.com account via Jetpack. When you’re done, you’ll be able to log in to each using the same WordPress.com account.
