# using markdown extra and syntax hilighting

 * i am trying to use html extra AND syntax highlighting on the same blog. whenever
   i use the
 * [sourcecode language='php']
 * code here..
 * [/sourcecode]
 * but when the page renders, i still get
 * “[sourcecode]” in my entries, but no highlighting..
 * it seems that the system isn’t recognizing the plugin..
 * any help would be appreciated..
