Using Kadence Blocks with Advanced Excerpt

4/6 is a good example. Can you see the code isn’t being stripped from the divs? How can I get the blocks so they don’t show up as empty spaces? I just want the text to be shown normally in the excerpt.

The developer at Advanced Blocks gave me instructions on how to disable Kadence blocks code from directly showing up in the excerpts. Maybe it’s good to have instructions in Kadence Blocks. When I first used it the Kadence block code was showing up in the excerpts.

So if I understand this right you had to add style tag to the list of allowed tags for things to work? That is a sign of an issue not something that you should need to do, excerpts should just be text no styled content?

1. Yes, that’s right. 2. By default WordPress strips tags but there are lots of plugins that allow excerpts with tags. I’m just happy I found a way to get everything working. Thank you for getting back to me here.

Just a note in the Kadence help area would be nice. About using other plugins. If the style code is stripped the kadence code doesn’t show up but content does. It’s really useful to know this. Especially for anyone building sites.
