Support » Fixing WordPress » Using Javascript Popup in Links

  • Ok.. so I’ve played with this a bit .. and found a work around.. but it’s not fully functional as you can’t edit the link once you add it.
    Anyways.. on to the issue.
    I’ve been trying to make a link in the links section that says this:
    javascript:Gallery('http://www.blah.com');
    When I do this.. the link is non functional as the ‘ kills the rest of the link. So I did a work around and added ” instead of ‘ and that seems to work.
    The issue is that when I go to edit the link in the links page… I am unable to see the whole link and alot of the link is truncated.
    Does anyone know an easy way to fix this so that I might add and edit links without issue?
    Thanks for your time.
    P.S. Yes.. I know that javascript isn’t compatible with all browsers…. ;o)
