Using iThemes Security and the WordPress App

Hi all,

I’m a huge fan of iThemes Security, and use it — with most settings enabled — on my WP sites. Thank you guys!

Question. I recently installed the WordPress app on my iphone, so I can blog from my phone as well. However, when I put in my credentials, it gives me an error along the lines of, this site isn’t recognized as a WordPress site.

I’m guessing that the reason is: some of the iThemes settings, such as “change the WP version” and “remove wordpress generator tag” or ones along those lines. Since there are a bunch of settings along those lines, I’m not sure which it is.

Please let me know:
– Which settings to change, in order to allow the app to access site so I can use it
– If this is a substantial security risk
