Support » Plugins » Using ImageHeadlines on the calendar month/year?

I’m using the ImageHeadlines plugin on my post and category titles.

Is there a way to use it to change the calendar month/year to a text image? I’d like it to match the rest of the headlines.

Failing that, is there a template tag that returns the current month/year? I can always use css to hide the calendar month/year if I can find another way to display them.

I searched both the codex and the support forums, but I haven’ t been able to find anything on this. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

  • Never mind. I couldn’t find any info on this anywhere, so I cloned the part of the get_calendar function that returns the month/year and set it up as a new function that takes the ImageHeadlines format string as an argument. Then I hid the regular calendar month/year via css. Works fine.
