Using Google Fonts on Site Title

  • I want to add a particular Google Font to my Site Title. I know I need to place this:

    <link href=’http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Fondamento’ rel=’stylesheet’ type=’text/css’>

    in the Header tag of the website, but I don’t know how to do that. Everything is live generated code. How would I generate this code with a function, or would I even use a function? As you can tell, I’m very not code proficient.

    Does anyone have a simple answer for this, as I would really like to use Google Fonts. The plugin works well with a Post, but not the main Site title and Description.

    Thanks for any info.

    Barry

  • Not the header tag. Inside the head tag of your website. It’s located in the header.php file of the template files of your theme.
